若是属乎律法的人，才得为后嗣，信就归于虚空，应许也就废弃了。
For if they which are of the law be heirs, faith is made void, and the promise made of none effect:
因为律法是惹动忿怒的。（或作叫人受刑的）那里没有律法，那里就没有过犯。
Because the law worketh wrath: for where no law is, there is no transgression.
亚伯拉罕所信的，是那叫死人复活使无变为有的神，他在主面前作我们世人的父。如经上所记，我已经立你作多国的父。
(As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.
他在无可指望的时候，因信仍有指望，就得以作多国的父，正如先前所说，你的后裔将要如此。
Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be.
人应当以我们为基督的执事，为神奥秘事的管家。
Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God.
我被你们论断，或被别人论断，我都以为极小的事。连我自己也不论断自己。
But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged of you, or of man's judgment: yea, I judge not mine own self.
我虽不觉得自己有错，却也不能因此得以称义。但判断我的乃是主。
For I know nothing by myself; yet am I not hereby justified: but he that judgeth me is the Lord.
弟兄们，我为你们的缘故，拿这些事转比自己和亚波罗。叫你们效法我们不可过于圣经所记。免得你们自高自大，贵重这个，轻看那个。
And these things, brethren, I have in a figure transferred to myself and to Apollos for your sakes; that ye might learn in us not to think of men above that which is written, that no one of you be puffed up for one against another.
你们已经饱足了，已经丰富了，不用我们，自己就作王了。我愿意你们果真作王，叫我们也得与你们一同作王。
Now ye are full, now ye are rich, ye have reigned as kings without us: and I would to God ye did reign, that we also might reign with you.
直到如今，我们还是又饥又渴，又赤身露体，又挨打，又没有一定的住处。
